En los últimos años, diversas organizaciones y colectivas feministas han trabajado arduamente en introducir la perspectiva de género en diversos espacios sociales. Sin embargo, dentro de las aulas universitarias aún falta implementar dicho enfoque de género para proteger a alumnas y docentes en las instituciones.
Recientemente se han realizado diversas denuncias en las instituciones de nivel superior de Aguascalientes, debido a la gran cantidad de agresiones sexuales que sufren en su mayoría alumnas, así como personal docente y administrativo femenino por parte de las autoridades universitarias y alumnado, denotando la desigualdad y posición de poder en donde el género es el factor primordial.
Ante la problemática se ha presionado a diversas instituciones del Estado a implementar protocolos de actuación ante el acoso y hostigamiento sexual, en el año 2018 la Comisión Nacional de Derechos Humanos emitió una recomendación general a las universidades para la creación de dichos protocolos. Lamentablemente en la actualidad hay universidades que aún carecen de dicho protocolo y aquellas que lo implementaron lo han hecho de manera ineficiente, puesto que no han proporcionado las medidas adecuadas para tratar los casos y prevenirlos.

Es necesario que las universidades realicen cambios y mejoras a su protocolo, con una perspectiva real de lo que sucede en las aulas de clase, que exista una mayor difusión del mismo dentro de la comunidad universitaria, informar sobre los modos de actuación, así como también proporcionar el adecuado acompañamiento a la víctima brindando los medios necesarios para vincular los casos a un proceso legal y garantizar una reparación del daño integral.
Así también, es fundamental ofrecer capacitación obligatoria y oportuna al personal docente y administrativo con perspectiva de género, para visibilizar las conductas que encuadran dentro de la violencia de género y con ello prevenirlas y atenderlas. Día a día, las alumnas recibimos violencia por nuestro género, desde frases como “las mujeres no deben estudiar, sino estar en casa y casarse” o comentarios por nuestra vestimenta por parte de compañeros, hasta profesores que condicionan tus calificaciones a cambio de favores sexuales.
Es urgente generar espacios seguros en donde las alumnas podamos desarrollarnos libremente y aprender sin temor a sentirnos intimidadas o violentadas por nuestro género. Las universidades tienen la responsabilidad y obligación de asegurar la integridad de sus alumnas, profesoras y demás personal académico, brindando apoyo con las herramientas adecuadas.
