Se presenta el libro Mamás y papás en lo virtual, un viaje para conectarnos
Cultivando Género AC presenta el libro “Mamás y papás en lo virtual, un viaje para conectarnos” es una publicación que proviene del trabajo conjunto Cultivando Género AC con la Iniciativa por los derechos digitales en Latinoamérica (INDELA) para el periodo 2023-2024. Su propósito es trabajar con madres y padres para compartir información y herramientas que sirvan para brindar acompañamiento a hijas e hijos que hacen uso de redes sociales, juegan videojuegos, y aprenden e interactúan de forma diversas en plataformas digitales.
Desde Cultivando Género partimos de la idea de que las personas nos coeducamos en sociedad, que todas las personas adultas somos responsables de la educación y sobre todo del cuidado de las infancias y adolescencias, independientemente de que tengamos hijas e hijos o no, si bien, este libro de descarga gratuita si está dirigido principalmente a madres y padres, no es de manera exclusiva, pues bien sabemos que las composiciones familiares son diversas y que la actualidad requiere que varias personas se involucren en el cuidado de niñas y niños, a veces es mamá o papá, pero a veces no, y se involucran en el cuidado familiares, amistades o profesionales del cuidado, por lo que este libro puede ser útil para cualquier persona que esté interesada en el tema del cuidado y de la prevención de la violencia digital.
El libro Mamás y papás en lo virtual, un viaje para conectarnos es resultado de una larga etapa de investigación-acción, es decir, de lecturas y debates con personas expertas en el tema de violencia digital, además de la experiencia directa con personas cuidadoras, y con quienes reciben directamente la violencia (niñas, niños y pre adolescentes). La interacción fue posible a partir de lanzar una encuesta vía digital “Mi experiencia como madre o padre en lo digital”, y de la impartición de talleres de prevención de violencia digital en distintas escuelas primarias y secundarias de Aguascalientes.
Desde Cultivando Género esperamos que este libro despierte interés principalmente de madres, padres, personal docente y personas cuidadoras y que contribuya a erradicar las violencias digitales cometidas en contra de niñas, niños y pre adolescentes.
