Siguiente Ombuds person debe garantizar la defensa, protección y ejercicio pleno de los DH

Hace unos días se publicó la convocatoria para el relevo de la Presidencia de la Comisión Estatal de Derechos Humanos del Estado de Aguascalientes (CEDH Ags.), por lo que, Cultivando Género AC hacemos un llamado a la Legislatura del H. Congreso del Estado de Aguascalientes a revisar los perfiles y postulaciones de las personas participantes de acuerdo a la experiencia demostrada de defensa en la materia.

Instamos a que la CEDH no sea un espacio que dé cabida a actitudes, discursos y comportamientos que toleren y reproduzcan los discursos de odio y discriminación, homofobia, transfobia; quien ocupe esta función debe estar a favor de todos los derechos para todas las personas, desde el derecho a decidir, derecho a la libertad de expresión.y todos aquellos derechos humanos que se encaminen a lograr la igualdad sustantiva y forman parte de la política que busca dar justicia a grupos en condiciones de vulnerablidad.

Hoy más que nunca y ante la deuda histórica que existe en el Estado de Aguascalientes, es necesario redoblar esfuerzos para lograr el reconocimiento, defensa, protección y ejercicio pleno de los derechos humanos de todas las personas. Es sumamente trascendente que quien llegue a la Comisión garantice un trabajo a favor de los derechos humanos con sentido progresista y crítico, que fortalezca las instituciones locales, tal como se le ha atribuido en nuestro sistema de justicia.

Desde Cultivando Género hacemos hincapié en que desde la Comisión se debe trabajar por:

  • La no repetición del uso de la fuerza pública, dichas acciones van contra todo espíritu de protección a los derechos humanos y son flagrantes violaciones a los tratados internacionales firmados y ratificados por México.
  • No criminalizar los movimientos sociales, tal como aconteció en la manifestación en el marco de la conmemoración del 8 de marzo en Aguascalientes.

A las personas candidatas les pedimos que, de llegar a ocupar tan importante puesto, tengan presente que su trabajo es proteger y defender a todas las personas. Independientemente de su orientación sexual, nivel económico, raza, nacionalidad, sexo, discapacidad, tal como lo establece el artículo 1o constitucional.

La CEDH es un organismo que está al servicio de todas las personas que conforman el Estado, y tiene un marco normativo de actuación para lograr la accesibilidad de todos los derechos humanos en condiciones de justicia.

En la Asociación mantenemos un compromiso con la sociedad civil, por lo que conminamos a las personas que forman parte de la Comisión a desempeñar su función pública de manera honesta, transparente, respetuosas y profesional, teniendo como marco de de su ejercicio las máximas que contemplan los tratados internacionales que son vinculantes para el Estado Mexicano.
